Hi, I am Elaine,  I offer freelance business support either virtually or onsite (within a reasonable distance of Slough) 

My services cater to small/medium business owners, sole traders & entrepreneurs needing that extra pair of hands.

 

Having worked within various industries such as construction, publishing, waste management, transport and logistics for over 30 years, I know all about planning, adapting, multi-tasking & anticipating the unexpected.

 

I love a challenge, to be resourceful and enjoy using my experience, skills & knowledge to support others to achieve their goals, which is why I decided to launch extra pair of hands4u. 

 

Some of the benefits of working with me are gaining an experienced professional at the reduced cost & commitment of employing a permanent member of staff.  No need to supply equipment or pay for pension contributions, holiday and sick pay etc. Having someone on hand to take on the workload that is preventing you from really focusing on your business. Flexible availability including weekends to cover for any holidays or absences that may impact on your business.

I hold an International Transport Manager CPC (HGV) and can assist in all aspects of legal compliance

• Driver compliance, license checks etc

• Keep you up to date with the latest compliance rules and regulations

• Maintain and develop effective transport compliance policiies and procedures

• Undertake administration for congestion charging and parking fines   

• Tachograph & Telematic Management

• Fleet maintenance planner, checking Inspection dates, booking with relevant garages and controlling costs

• Keep processes up to date in regards to future FORS accreditation audits (Bronze & Silver)

• Internal audits

 

I can also help with general admin, customer service, any finance, logistical, waste and material related tasks to name just a few – freeing you up to get on with your business!

Prices

    I try my best to provide everything you and your business might need to achieve your goals. Read more about the packages below to see which best fits your needs.

If you require something different, bespoke packages can be arranged, so please get in touch.

 

 

Pay As You Go Rate 

Is ideal if you just need ad-hoc help to get you back on track or to deal with that job that you never get around to! 

£27.00 per hour (1-hour minimum charge)   

 

 

Retainer Packages 

Monthly retainer packages are perfect for clients who require ongoing, regular help and support & also ensure the time is reserved for you. Choose a package that works and fits with your requirements and budget. They offer great value for money and provide a real sense of security knowing your ongoing professional admin and business support is taken care of.

​

Bronze £250 (10 hours per month)

Ideal if you are looking for a couple of hours of admin work to be completed each week

 

Silver  £480 (20 hours per month)

Perfect if you are needing weekly support throughout the month,  for example with invoices, receipts, inbox or diary management.

​

Gold  £920 (40 hours per month)

The best option if you are looking for ongoing support throughout the month on a range of tasks

​

(Time tracking software is used to ensure maximum productivity. Time is rounded up or down to the nearest 15 minutes. Weekly and monthly reports are available.

Unless otherwise agreed, retainer payments are due in advance in order to reserve your hours.)
